As a natural creative, I was always drawn to artistic projects, but lacking confidence, I followed the traditional four—year college path, harnessing my other passion for social change. I quickly realized I was not being creatively fulfilled, leading to the creation of Excellent Aesthetics Print Shop on Etsy. It didn’t take long until there too I began to feel creatively constricted by the digital art print market. I contemplated selling original acrylic paintings or print on demand items on Etsy, but I soon realized how impacted that market is becoming. I decided I wanted to take my artistry to the next level and create my own brand as an artist selling the abstract, colorful, maximalist wall art I feel is missing from the mainstream art market, all while keeping the prices accessible for average consumers.  

Through the process of shifting my small business from Etsy to its own e-commerce wall art store, I went back to the drawing board and started from scratch;  applying the months of self-taught brand and marketing strategies along with my political science degree education to curate a business that aligned with my maximalist and colorful art style as well as represented the enduring societal factors the majority of us are currently enduring.

Wall art grants us the self expression to personalize our living space bringing forth a sense of calmness, creativity and belonging. We believe that feelings of calmness, belonging and creativity should not be contingent on financial accessibility to any specific product, but instead on the desire to let creativity into your space and into your life. The end product is a company that commits to providing high quality, maximalist, colorful wall art at accessible prices.

Colorful wall art and maximalist home decor have served this purpose for me as a hectic, type B creative, and I truly believe we can all benefit from seeing the beauty within the chaos.
